A Willow Bend welcome that begins at the street
Mature Plano estates have long driveways. Willow Bend properties especially — set back from the road, oak-lined, the kind of arrivals that take twenty seconds from gate to garage. The lighting should know you are coming. We design Lutron scenes that pick up your phone or your car as it turns off Preston, ease the driveway accent lights up to twenty percent, brighten the porch as you approach, and have the entry hall already warm by the time you step through the door. The house greets you before you reach the gate.
Inside, mature Plano homes from the 1990s usually came with too many switches in too many places. We strip the wall down to a single Lutron keypad, label the scenes by how you actually use the room — Morning, Reading, Dinner Party, Goodnight — and tune every load to the right level. Tunable LEDs where the kitchen wants daylight in the morning and candlelight at dinner. Discreet keypad finishes that disappear into the existing trim. The Deerfield family room finally has the one light switch it always wanted.
How We Do It in Plano
A walk through your Plano home at dusk — We watch the light change in real time. We see what is on, what is off, what fights with what. The walk reveals more than any plan.
A keypad and scene plan — For each room we design the keypad layout, the scene labels, and the load assignments. You see exactly which button does what before we mount a single device.
Coordination with your electrician where needed — Most Plano retrofits keep the existing wiring. Where loads need to be reorganized or new circuits need to land, we work with your preferred electrician or recommend one we trust in town.
Lutron hardware install — Keypads, dimmers, motorized fixture controls, sensors — installed in a single visit per zone so the home stays livable through the work.
Driveway, exterior, and landscape integration — We integrate the driveway, path lighting, facade uplighting, and pool deck into the same Lutron system. The exterior responds to time of day, occupancy, and your arrival.
Scene tuning at the moments you use them — We come back at the times of day the scenes actually run — sunrise, dusk, dinner. We tune them in the light they were designed for.
Who We Help in Plano
- You, in Willow Bend, with a long oak-lined driveway that deserves to greet you properly
- You, in Deerfield, tired of nine switches on a wall and never remembering which one runs the chandelier
- You, in Kings Gate, retrofitting a 1990s Plano build with modern lighting without tearing into the walls
- You, in Shoal Creek, who wants the dinner party scene to live behind a single keypad
- You, who knows tunable LED is not a gimmick when it is tuned by someone who knows what they are doing
The Frustrations We Hear Most
- The original Plano build wiring is incompatible with modern LED drivers
- The driveway lighting is either off or blinding — no middle ground
- The kitchen island fixture flickers when dimmed because the dimmer is wrong for the load
- There are eleven switches on the family room wall and the cleaning crew turns them all on
- Plano summer sunset comes at 8:45 and the porch never knows when to turn on
The Questions People Actually Ask.
My Willow Bend driveway is almost five hundred feet long. Can the lighting actually greet me as I arrive?
Yes. We use geofencing and driveway sensors to detect your car as it turns in from the street. The accent lighting eases up ahead of you, the porch is already on by the time you reach it, and the entry hall is warm when you open the door.
Our 1990s Plano home has original incandescent dimmers. Can we go to LED without rewiring?
In most rooms, yes. Lutron makes drop-in LED-compatible dimmers and keypads that fit the existing back boxes. Where the original wiring is genuinely too old or undersized, we will tell you and bring in an electrician for that specific run only.
Can you handle the landscape and pool deck lighting on the same system?
We do. Exterior facade lighting, landscape paths, pool deck, and dock or fountain lighting all join the Lutron system. The whole property responds to sunset and to the scenes you set for entertaining.
My family room in Deerfield has eleven switches. Can it really come down to one keypad?
It can come down to one keypad with four to six labeled scene buttons. Everything else lives behind the scene logic. Your housekeeper, your kids, and your guests all use the same single panel and the room behaves correctly every time.
