A new build wired for the full energy stack
A 2026 Prosper or Celina new build almost always includes some part of the energy stack — rooftop solar on the south-facing pitch, an EV charger in the garage, a battery in the mechanical room, sometimes all three. The question is whether they speak the same language or run as four disconnected systems. We design the integration during construction so a Windsong Ranch or Star Trail new build comes online with solar production, battery state of charge, EV draw, and panel-level home loads all visible in one Savant Power dashboard.
The new construction window is the right time. Conduit for the solar DC runs, a properly sized battery enclosure with ventilation, a 50-amp EV circuit pulled to the right wall of the garage, and the Savant Power integration class on the main panel are all decisions made before drywall. When you move in, the home is producing, the EV is charging on the off-peak schedule, the battery is dispatching during ERCOT peak hours, and the August electric bill is meaningfully lower than the neighbor down the street who skipped the integration step. Four systems wired to speak one language from day one.
How We Do It in Prosper & Celina
A pre-construction energy plan — Before framing, we sit with you, your builder, and your solar contractor to align on solar capacity, battery capacity, EV charger location, and how Savant Power will integrate them.
Conduit, ventilation, and panel work during framing — DC conduit for solar, battery enclosure with proper ventilation, 50-amp or 100-amp EV circuits, and Savant Power integration class on the main panel all happen during rough-in.
Solar, battery, and EV install in coordination — We coordinate with the solar contractor and the electrician so the installs happen in the right order and integrate cleanly. No retrofit work later.
Savant Power commissioning — Solar production, battery state of charge, EV draw, and panel-level loads land in one dashboard. The system is commissioned as one stack rather than three separate installs.
Peak-hour and ERCOT logic — Battery dispatch rules during peak rates, EV charging schedule on off-peak, pool pump and water heater scheduling, and automated response when ERCOT issues a Prosper-area conservation appeal.
First-summer bill review — We review the first three monthly bills and refine the dispatch logic. By the second summer most clients are running a meaningfully lower bill than equivalent neighbors on the same plan.
Who We Help in Prosper & Celina
- You, building in Windsong Ranch with rooftop solar and a Tesla in the garage
- You, in Star Trail, planning a Powerwall or comparable battery during the new build
- You, in Light Farms, who wants the full solar, battery, and EV stack on one app
- You, in Mustang Lakes, with two EVs and a peak rate plan you want to outsmart
- You, who is willing to invest now to keep the August Prosper electric bill flat for the next decade
The Frustrations We Hear Most
- Solar is installed but there is no visibility into when it is producing versus when it is being used
- The EV is charging at peak rates because no one set up the off-peak schedule
- The battery is installed but there is no logic dispatching it during ERCOT peak hours
- The home, the solar inverter, and the EV all use different apps with no integration
- A new build was occupied without the energy stack ever being commissioned as one system

The Questions People Actually Ask.
We are getting solar from a separate contractor. Does that work with Savant Power?
Yes. As long as the inverter is a standard brand we can integrate, Savant Power layers above the solar install. The solar contractor handles the array and inverter. We handle the integration, the battery dispatch logic, the EV scheduling, and the dashboard.
How much can the battery actually save during a Prosper peak rate window?
It depends on your plan and your usage, but most of our Windsong Ranch installs run from grid-zero between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on summer weekdays. The battery covers the peak window, the solar refills it the next day, and the meter sees off-peak rates for the heavy hours.
Can we charge two EVs at the same time without overloading the panel?
Yes, with the right load management. Savant Power handles dynamic load balancing across multiple EV chargers — both cars can charge overnight without tripping the panel or requiring a service upgrade. We plan it during the rough-in.
What happens during an ERCOT conservation appeal in Prosper summer?
The system pre-cools the home before peak, shifts the pool pump and water heater to off-peak, draws from battery instead of the grid, and dims non-essential loads. You see the response on the dashboard. The household experience does not change — the bill does.
