The Cinema is the flagship — the full theater chair experience, with the deepest recline, the most generous proportions, and customizable everything. Specification, Tiered Risers, and the Room It Lives In
Theater seating is a layout exercise as much as a furniture purchase. We measure the room, model the sightlines, and design the riser construction so every seat in the second and third rows has a clear view over the row in front. Twelve to fourteen-inch riser heights, carpeted treads, integrated LED step lighting on a Savant astronomical timer that wakes when the room dims for the show.
Lead times on Fortress run eight to sixteen weeks because every chair is built to order. How long does a Fortress order take?
Eight to sixteen weeks from order to delivery, depending on the configuration and the current production schedule. Custom leathers and finishes can add additional time. We typically place the seating order at the same time we order the projector and processor so everything arrives ready for a coordinated install.
Can I add tactile transducers to the seats?
Yes. Fortress offers integrated tactile transducer mounts that drive a low-frequency vibration through the chair frame, synchronized with the LFE channel of the film. We tune them through a dedicated amplifier channel during calibration. The effect is subtle and extraordinary — physical weight without acoustic boom.
What if I want a custom configuration not in the standard line?
Fortress builds custom regularly.
